INTA Cocktail Party

On the evening of Sunday 11 May 2014, representatives from various K&L Gates’ offices hosted approximately 250 clients and friends of the firm at a reception in Hong Kong during the International Trademark Association (INTA) annual conference.  INTA’s annual conference is the most important intellectual property conference each year for IP professionals around the world.While previously a US dominated organisation, in recent times INTA has taken its annual conference to Amsterdam and Berlin with Hong Kong being the first time the conference was in Asia.

Attending the reception from the firm were representatives from the IP teams from Hong Kong, Beijing, Taipei, Melbourne, Sydney, Palo Alto, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Warsaw.  Many lawyers from the Hong Kong office also attended and the event was well organised by the Hong Kong office staff. 

Braving the torrential Hong Kong rain which did not cease for the duration of the party, the event was well run and gave clients a good chance to mingle with other IP professionals.  With attendees from four continents, K&L Gates was able to showcase our global platform to both new and existing clients.

We are already looking forward to the next event in San Diego in May 2015.
